Water Level at Crosslake

Water Level at Crosslake

The "usual" winter water level in Cross lake is 1228 feet above sea level. The Corps of Engineers tries to maintain this lower level during the winter.

In the summer, the intent is to keep the lake within a few inches of 1229.32 feet.

1229.32 is in the middle of the "summer band" and typically the level will be kept within this band unless an especially heavy rain pushes it above the band or a prolonged dry spell lowers it below the desired level.
