Free appetizers, visit with experts who are there to help you with your shoreline challenges and plans.
This is the kick-off event for the Annual Shoreline Restoration Contest and is the preliminary to the judging session on June 19th.

Shoreland Restoration Contest
Ideal Community Center 5 - 7:30 pm
Bring ideas and sketches of your shoreland restoration project. Experts there that night will help you fine tune your vision.
A total of $6,000 (in varying amounts) will be awarded to the projects which will most help maintain good water quality.

Antique Boat Show at Moonlite Bay on Crosslake
WAPOA will have a display there and Board Members will be available all day to talk to those interested about water quality, shoreline restoration, invasive species, watercraft inspection, and other lake related topics.

Annual Harvest Dinner
In the interest of better water quality for area lakes, this event again brings lake dwellers and farmers together so that they can continue to work toward better water quality. It is another chance for each group to hear about the the goals and challenges of each group.
