Announcements

• The association has received 501(c) 3 status from the IRS. This means all dues, contributions, etc. are tax deductible. The association is now recognized as a non-profit corporation by both the state and federal government.

• The association has decided to participate in a Crow Wing County program that will have AIS Inspectors at our public watercraft accesses. This program will cost approximately $14.00 per hour for the inspector. The association board decided to spend $3000.00 to purchase approximately 200 hours of inspector time at the accesses.  

• Last fall a fly-over was conducted by A.W. Research Laboratory over seven of our lakes to look for possible sources of pollution. After some discussion it was decided to focus on Lake Mitchell and Daggett Brook this year.
