The Minnesota Waters' 2011 Lakes and Rivers Conference was held April 28 – 29, 2011 at the River’s Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud (formerly the St. Cloud Civic Center). This beautiful facility is located on the banks of the mighty Mississippi River, and spring is a great time of year to visit St. Cloud, right in the center of Minnesota! The conference included more than 40 information-rich workshops, which focused on the following topics:
  • Aquatic Invasive Species
  • Understanding and Influencing Water Policy
  • Best Practices and Projects for Clean Water
  • Water Quality Challenges
  • Citizen Success Stories


    • The 2011 conference provided great opportunities to see old friends, meet new people and learn about best practices.     The conference also provided numerous opportunities for attendees to spend time with more than 30 exhibitors and get a first-hand look at the products and services they provide.
